A Medical Garden:

Cures and Quacks through History

Professor Anthony Dayan

Danger: sweet clover, comfrey, yellow star thistle, hemlock, Jamaican fish berry! This presentation is about toxicity, who poisons for profit and how plants help in the development of medicines. The Professor takes visitors, safely, round the 1,000 international species in the Medical Garden of the Royal College of Physicians. He was a hospital pathologist, then a leading toxicologist for Wellcome Foundation and St Barts’ Hospital. Take the risk of coming to this talk.
